JUDITH NISBETT!!
Although I usually introduce myself as Judy from CT, I am really Judy from the Bronx, NY who now lives in Norwalk, CT. I spent over 27 years working on Corporate America. In 2011, after 23 years in HR, my position was outsourced to 3 people in another company. The environment was so toxic by the time I left, I danced out vowing never to go back to that type of environment. After 4 years of searching and being
scammed and disappointed, I decided to check out this AmeriPlan “thing”. For three weeks, I tortured my enroller with endless questions and told her all the reasons why this was not what I was looking for. She patiently answered my questions, sent me information and arranged a three-way call with her enroller. Somehow, during that call a bond and a lifetime friendship was formed based on all the values we had in common.
What I did wrong – For the next three years, there were many highs and lows in my personal life. I was involved in a serious car accident, I lost 3 people I loved dearly, I was hospitalized for 3 weeks and spent 4 weeks in a rehab facility. But on the flipside, I reconnected with and married the most wonderful man I’ve ever met, and I’ve watched my son mature into a phenomenal, hard-working, fun-loving, caring, WORKING, Dean’s list student. Did I mention that
he’s working?? Our fantastic family welcomed 2 bright adorable babies and we saw miraculous recoveries of two family members. I allowed each of these experiences to take me away for my AmeriPlan business. In hindsight, I should have at least touched my business every day because it’s very hard to get back into the routine of placing ads and making calls when you stop completely. I also spent A LOT of time trying to figure out how to avoid making a lot of calls to
prospects.
What I did right – I never lost my desire to make this work. I read the daily encouraging messages in Janie’s newsletters. I accepted that AmeriPlan is a family of people who REALLY love and respect each other. I also finally accepted that I’ve got to pick up that blankety-blank phone. AND most important, the leaders are committed to helping people to be healthy, happy and successful.
So now, as Cathy ALWAYS encouraged me, Darlin – Ain’t No Stoppin Us Now!!

It's hard to see that someone on your team might run with you and once you do, you know that several WILL if you just keep going. Chug on that train stay with the game plan.
