From Candy

 

My journey with Ameriplan started off a little rocky!  It’s funny how the Lord answers prayers when you are not paying attention. My mentor and friend, Susan Laugen, called me when I was having a bad day. I had a cold and was scrubbing floors and trying to finish housework. After explaining to me about the opportunity and asking me to join her team I told her no, I wasn't paying to work from home and hung up on her. Boy was I wrong!

 A couple of weeks went by, and I could not get away from the idea about working from home, so I talked with my husband and his words were " If you want to, then go ahead and do it." There are days when he is so right on things. With great hesitation and nervousness, I picked up the phone to call her back. I signed up with her.  I was so excited about having my own business, and that’s where my journey began.  It has been a great experience learning to advertise, post ads and make calls… that’s way out of the box for me. There’s been days that I have soared with the excitement of signing up new plans and members, and then there are those days I’ve wondered if I made the right choice.  With the encouragement of Mrs. Susan, Mrs. Shawna, and Michelle Stefferson, I’ve conquered my first obstacle and made RSD. Wow!  I'm so excited! I love what my pastor said, “You serve a big God so dream big, he can handle it.” So the sky’s the limit for me.
