Hi ~ "Debby from Maine" here...
I sincerely wish AmeriPlan had existed when I was a young Mom! I have always believed Moms should be home with their children, but I know it is not always possible. So I could be home with my 3 daughters I sold Avon, then Tupperware in the '70's and eventually as a single Mom became owner of a housecleaning franchise for the decade of the '80's. Then I got a "real job"and worked in the retail industry 'til the early 2000's.
I left my job to care for my aging parents. I did elder care for 11 years, until Mother passed at the age of 96!
Retail didn't want me back... I was laid off after the Christmas holidays and unemployment said I had to "look for work"
After seeing Janie's Co-op ad for about 3 months (no one else responded to my applications) I thought I'd check out this work at home thing! I'd run up a big debt for "training" trying to start my own on line business during Mom's last year so I was cautious when I heard the word "training".
My enroller is no longer with AmeriPlan, but my uplines have been so helpful. I am so happy to be able to reassure each prospect that our training is awesome; free, comprehensive and ongoing.
Just 3 months after becoming an IBO I had an accident. Nothing major, just my thumb, but we had no insurance! My husband Steve had been laid off and his new employer wouldn't cover him for 3 months. I was just 3 weeks away from Medicare. My hospital bill, ER, surgery etc, was $8,000.00 Thank goodness for AmeriPlan, my bill was reduced to $2,000.00.
Even though it was just my thumb I was a while recovering. I work my business part time so I can help my daughter who is also a single Mom of 4 and have time to spend with my husband and siblings.
It's taken me 3 years; members and IBO's come and go, but I'm still here. I tell prospects who are not ready "Call me when you are, I'll be here!" I'm a great Grandma now and AmeriPlan is my retirement plan!

From Her Proud Enroller
Debby,
You did it!!!! I am so extremely proud and honored to work with you. After your enroller quit I didn't think you would stick with this. I had not spoken to you and didn't know your tenacity. You were close to RSD several times but you pushed forward and got it done!! Debby, this is just the beginning. Don't lose sight of why you are here and you will go very far! You are a testament that it doesn't matter how long it takes just that you did it! Well done!
I am doing the happy dance!!
Your very proud friend,
