I am so excited to be a part of the Freedom At Home Team with AmeriPlan. I owned a very upscale flower shop in downtown Baltimore for 17 years. I am used to being my own boss. In 2014, I was honored as one of the Top 100 Minority Business Entreprenuers, competing with hundreds of business owners in five states. I decided to retire and sell the business in 2015 because it was
taking a physical toll on my body. You see, I have a very rare lung disease and when I get extremely tired, it gets difficult for me to breathe. For two years, I looked for something to supplement my retirement income. One day, I Googled work from home opportunities and entered my contact information.
First I received an email, then a text. The very next day, I received a call from Cathy Caneiro. She explained what AmeriPlan was all about. I told her I had never heard of AmeriPlan. We had “the” conversation and I was hooked. I enrolled in the Jump Start program but right after joining, my mother-in-law became ill. I was so totally consumed with her care that I was unable to really focus on enrollments to get my 30-day
bonuses. Yes, I became discouraged and thought about just chalking the $269.90 up as a loss. But Cathy sensed that the enthusiasm was gone. I can hear her say “No worries. What can I do to help you?” I requested some leads which she sent me and in my mind, that was my “day one.” Then came Terri Medine with the 60-day training program. I never looked back after that.
It is good to know that I control how far I go with AmeriPlan. How far do I want to go? To obtain each promotion that is out there! To build legacy income for my family. I want to be able to continue to travel like my husband and I did before retirement. I want to help people save on dental, vision and prescriptions who in the past just looked at their bill and walked away without any hope of getting what they needed to stay healthy. I
have been blessed to talk to so many really nice people and hear the smile in their voice when I tell them where to go and how much they are going to save.
