Hi AmeriPlan Family My name is Dannette Kent. I am absolutely ecstatic about being apart of AmeriPlan. I am even more enthused to
have made RSD!
This accomplishment is one that I have worked really hard for. I am amazed everyday for the incredible culture and positive
environment that is so supportive, encouraging and truly here to help each person to go to their ultimate success!
I started out always wanting to be a teacher, an educator. Someone to make a difference in others’ lives, help them grow and watch
how they would start out at one place and end up, so much more equipped, confident and prepared for the next journey they would face. The teaching field was changing and my kids were getting older.
I spent 18 years in education thinking it was a secure “job”. The teaching field was changing, I spent more time at
home, after school, before school, during school grading papers, completing and designing engaging lessons, creating interactive activities, doing reports, meetings after meetings, professional development for the school for my team,.every waking moment, sleeping moment was spent “teaching” with the new year round schedule my “time off” was never really “vacation” time.I needed a BIG change Freedom!Teaching was my life, my dream. I accomplished My dream
of teaching for 18 years total, It was my lifelong dream career. I can honestly say I LOVED it! It brought me so much joy. BUT … That would soon change in my last 4 years of my teaching career.
The door was shut...abruptly I might say...I knew it was coming, but when it did shut, it was SLAMMED hard and tight. But, it was
the first time that I saw that the security of what I believed was a "secure government job” the 9-5, A career, that I thought would always be there and support me, showed me that it was NOT secure at all.
I started looking for a work from home opportunity. I came across AmeriPlan I knew the opportunity was perfect I knew after the first month it was the right decision. I was so diligent with all that I did. In the beginning, I started AmeriPlan part-time. I
knew that I made the right choice. I learned to weave my Ameriplan business in to every slot I had open between appointments, school, my kids, I would to listen to the training's, find professional development videos and staying in contact with my enroller, Michelle
Shipp.
I participated in her Team RSD Accountability Groups which were a HUGE game changer. My diligence to be coachable with her and all
the training's applying all things given and absorbed. I was grateful for her never giving up on me.
AmeriPlan has changed my life it has taught me new skills, the community and team are supportive and character building, helping you see
the potential I have and the sky’s the limits. I have become confident in who I am, this opportunity has allowed me to dream beyond anything I have ever done. AmeriPlan gives me the freedom with my kids to work it around them. My kids and family have said how I am stronger more driven and self-sufficient, bolder than who I ever was. It has changed my life. I know that all that I had with teaching has been applicable to this career opportunity, instead of grown little ones I get
to help grow all kinds of individuals. Helping them to change their lives. I am so excited for becoming RSD I know that this is only the beginning of more to come.
Thanks to AmeriPlan I have learned so much, been taken out of my comfort zone, all to grow in a way that I never thought I could.
Thank you Michelle Shipp for always believing in me, for standing behind me and being with me through the journey I am so grateful for having you as a couch, friend and Teammate! The best part of being apart of AmeriPlan is ALL dreams are possible and attainable. I have set new goals and aspirations for myself this year 2018. I know I got this and Will CRUSH
