No one likes war. No one wants war. But these brave men and women

volunteer to go where no one wants to go. 

 

And they do it for us. 

 

You fought so I don't have to. 

 

You sacrificed so I don't have to. 

 

And I for one will never forget or stop being grateful for that. 

 

Regardless of your political bent or geopolitical feelings,

thanking those who serve is not only the right thing to do but it's

something they hear far less than they should. 

This Veterans day consider those who have served and  thank them for providing us with the greatest gift of all-freedom. And, for those of us fortunate enough to have a veteran at home, hug them tightly and thank them for their daily sacrifice and service to our country.

 

So join me today in giving thanks.
