I cannot tell you how EXCITED I am to have hit this Promotion Level. The emotions that hit you all at once are a little overwhelming but sooooo worth it. I wanted to cry, jump up and down and celebrate all at the same time!
It wasn't an easy road but persistence, consistency and drive were key factors in getting this accomplished for me and my family.
I'm not new to network marketing. I was introduced to it back in 2002. I was working full time at a bank and I was working a lot of hours. I grew up very impoverished and didn't know that there was a way out. I came across a lot of different companies over the years. Some I tried, some I just ignored. They were not what I was looking for but I knew there had to be something out there. I had 2 kids
at this point and I was missing out on my sons' lives. After 8 years, 3 promotions and a whole lot of stress later, I made the decision to quit due to management issues.
I decided to pursue the world of insurance and started working for an Agent with State Farm. Unfortunately, the hours were just as long as the bank and I was falling into the same pattern. I wanted to be home with my kids and it was killing me on the inside to be apart from them.
AmeriPlan found me in 2013. I received an email about the opportunity and it was unlike any of the companies that I was introduced to. I enrolled but didn't do anything with the business. I worked it for maybe a month and got discouraged when I didn't have instant results. I did not work it the way I should have and I quit after 6 months. I did not have the right mentality to be
successful.
I never forgot about this company and in the back of my mind, I think I kicked myself for not doing something awesome with it.
My world changed in early 2015. I had to quit my job because I lost my childcare. A week after I put my notice in, I found out I was pregnant. I decided to venture into the world of real estate but quickly found, this would not offer me the complete flexibility I needed to stay with my kids. I actually had LeAnn Kinsey as a friend on Facebook from 2013. I knew that she was very successful. I
saw an ad that she posted in July with a pregnant lady working with her laptop and felt it was a sign. I called her and we went over my past experience. She answered every concern and question that I had. Three weeks later, I enrolled.
In the last 7 months, I've had a new baby, worked real estate part time, gained and lost team members and tried to figure out how to balance this all.
Once I finally understood that you have to have fun, enjoy your conversations and have the mentality of truly helping people - the enrollments started coming.
I'm not stopping. I'm dedicated, committed and excited to see what AmeriPlan has in store for me. I'm thankful beyond any words and feel so Blessed to have a life I never thought possible.
